In 2008, construction began on a roundabout at Portland Ave. and 66th St.
To avoid this construction, please use the directions below.
FROM SOUTH: Either take North on Highway 77 to 494 West,
exit at Nicollet Ave. turn right (north), follow to 64th St. Turn
right (east) stay on 64th, cross Portland Ave. and enter directly
into parking lot.
Or go North on 35W to 494 East, exit at Nicollet Ave, exit, turn
left (north), follow to 64th St. Turn right (east) stay on 64th
St. cross Portland Ave. and enter directly into parking lot.
FROM NORTH: 35W to Diamond Lake Rd. exit. exit, turn left (east)
go to Portland Ave., turn right (south), follow to 64th St. and
turn left into the park entrance.
FROM WEST: Take the Crosstown 62 (east) to 35W (north) exit
at Diamond Lake Rd. Turn right (east) go to Portland and turn right (south)
to Veterans Park entrance. (Note: Lyndale Ave. and Portland Ave. exits from
the Crosstown west are both closed.)
Or go 494 East to Nicollet Ave. exit, turn left, go north to 64th
St., turn right (east) cross over Portland Ave. and drive into parking lot.
FROM EAST: 494 West to Highway 77 (Cedar Ave.), turn right, go
north on Highway 77 to Crosstown west. Exit at Portland Ave., turn left
(south). Entrance to park on left side of street at 64th St.
For construction information, Minnesota Dept. of Transportation
representatives will be at the market on June 28, July 26, Aug. 23, Sept. 27
and Oct 25. Just look for the MN Dot table on those dates.
